Wee baby Victoria! She was younger than I am now when she wrote and published this, and I absolutely love this quiet novel.
3) The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
This was the first book to actively make me cry when I was 13. I need to read more of his work! One of my best friends did an author study on his books when we were in grad school.
2) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by JK Rowling
This was THE book that sucked me in, and formed my weird little thoughts. So, it had to be on here!
1) Carrie by Stephen King
I didn’t read this until I was almost done with college, but honestly, if you read King’s work in chronological order, sometimes its hard to tell that this one was his first actual novel!
