Top Five Tuesday: Summer Reads

This weekly meme comes from Shanah at Bionic Book Worm!

I’m one of those people who doesn’t like summer time at all, but here are some of my reads that I love when it’s grossly hot out!

5) Desperation  by Stephen King

Set in a desert…where it’s hot…yup, sounds like Hell summertime to me! Perfectly creepy and quite large, too, to keep you going all summer!

4) All Summer Long by Hope Larsen

I love this middle grade graphic novel so much, and I can’t wait for the next book! *side-eyes Hope* it might be a little while, though, but I’m all about it and some good good summer vibes!

3) The Raven Boys by Maggie Steifvater

Something about Cabeswater makes me actually enjoy the thought of summer!

2) The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw

This was one of my favorite summer reads last year, and I just want so much more of Sparrow! Give me more spooky water ghosts.

1) My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix

I could yell about this book forever (already did, tbh), but maybe it’s because summer time reminds me of swamps, or maybe because I read this during Bonnaroo last year, or maybe a combination of both, but this is my ultimate summer read. And I’ll probably read it again this summer.
