Top 5 Tuesday: Top 5 Fictional Friendships

I’m finally getting back into the swing of things with Top 5 Tuesday, a weekly meme hosting by Shanah at BionicBookWorm!

Most of my favorite friendships are like, ones where both parties don’t really want to be friends, but they end up that way out of necessity. So, here we go!

5) Jamie Watson and Charlotte Holmes (Charlotte Holmes series)

Yes, they’re pretty much destined to be friends, but Charlotte only lets Jamie in once she actually needs him, and they’re genuinely so good together?

4) Z and Aysel (Out of Salem)

I know I literally just reviewed this one, but their friendship is so pure. And it’s a strong friendship, in spite of alllll the bullshit!

3) Mia and Mr. Kindly (Nevernight Chronicle)

I’m noticing I tend to love codependent relationships here, WHOOPS. But any time someone can tell a cat to fuck right off and the cat just sasses back, clearly I’m gonna love it.

2) Bina and Austin (All Summer Long)

This friendship reminded me SO MUCH of me and my best friend when we were ages 6-18. He was a total jock, I was the total weirdo. But we worked and this friendship is so cute.

1) Cinder and Thorne (The Lunar Chronicles)

I. Love. Smartass. Friendships!

  1. I love Cinder and Thornes friendship! While I was doing my list I remember this series and knew I loved a friendship in that book but couldn’t remember which one. My mind went blank, haha.

  2. Great post! And yes, Cinder and Thorne! it’s not the first friendship that comes to mind then thinking about the lunar chronicles, but definitely a good one!

  3. Yes for Cinder and Thorne! But honestly I love friendship so much and have a long list!

Tell me somethin!
