Top Five Tuesday (on a Monday): Books on My Wishlist

Holy crap, are we really almost to the end of the year?! Time’s really been FLYIN’ by! Since it’s almost Christmas, why not share of of the books I’d LOVE to dive into next Tuesday afternoon (after opening presents and eating lunch, that is!)(Although, I will say, some of these are early 2019 releases I’ve already preordered, so patience is something I’ll totally be working on.) This meme comes from Bionic Book Worm, be sure to check her out!

5) The Wicked King by Holly Black

Holy crap. It took me almost all of 2018 to finally get around to reading The Cruel Prince, and I’ve been kicking myself SO MUCH for taking that long! I can’t wait to get this in the mail in a few weeks!!!!!

4) King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

I will forever and always love my bastard scarred prince, and cannot wait (again) to open this up!

3) Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor

I still haven’t even opened my copy of Strange the Dreamer that I bought at Parnassus Books right after it was published. But I still want it!!!

2) The Traitor Baru Cormorant by Seth Dickinson

I’ve heard so so so much about this book, and it’s exactly my type of sci-fi (honestly it sounds a lot like The Poppy War but sciencey. And The Poppy War will forever go down as my favorite read in 2018.)

1) ‘Salem’s Lot by Stephen King

I know this is one of my favorite King books. But I shockingly don’t actually own a copy of it? It’s one of the less intimidating of his books, size-wise (only 594 pages!), and I love this take on vampires.

What are some bookish goods you’re hoping to open up next week (if you celebrate) or did you open up (for Hanukkah)?
